Overview
Swiss Vapeur Parc is located in Le Bouveret, in the municipality of Port-Valais, on the shores of Lake Geneva. Founded in 1989, this miniature railway park covers 19,000 m² of green grounds.
Its 2 km of track carry 1 :4 scale trains pulled by genuine steam locomotives. Visitors climb aboard to travel through recreated Swiss landscapes of hills, bridges and a large pond, surrounded by 130 species of trees and flowers.

What to see and do
The park runs several types of trains : Goldenpass panoramic cars with retractable roofs, the vintage train of the Transports Publics du Chablais, replicas of historic locomotives and a Wengernalpbahn rack railway.
Four routes of 15 to 20 minutes each let you explore the whole site. Along the way, you pass through a 60 m tunnel and by miniature landmarks of Swiss heritage, including Aigle Castle and Saanen Church.
The bridges and engineering structures are another highlight of the park. Among them is a replica of New York’s George Washington Bridge. The open-air circuit thus blends architecture, railway engineering and landscaped gardens.
