Servion Zoo is a family-run wildlife park founded in 1974 in the Jorat region of Vaud. Here you can observe local and exotic species, from tigers to wolves, in natural enclosures set along a shaded forest trail.

Overview
Servion Zoo was born from one family’s passion for animals. Founded in 1974 in the Jorat region of Vaud, it has grown gradually, prioritising the quality of its facilities and animal welfare over the number of species.
The park is home to over 60 species and around 200 animals, ranging from native to exotic species. The enclosures are spacious and designed around the needs of each species. The atmosphere remains family-friendly and the views of the animals are unobstructed.

What to see and do
The trail follows a logical route through a 3-hectare forest. Information panels introduce each animal : natural habitat, diet and conservation status.
The big cats are among the main attractions. You can see Siberian tigers in a vast forest enclosure, as well as lions, snow leopards and Eurasian lynx, elusive representatives of Alpine wildlife.
Other mammals round out the visit : brown bears in a wooded area, wolves living in a pack and monkeys, including Barbary macaques. At the petting zoo, children can get close to the pygmy goats.
Practical information
Getting there : by car from Lausanne, head towards Moudon via the Route de Berne. By bus from Lausanne (line 65) or Palézieux (line 75). Free parking shared with the Tropiquarium.
Visit duration : allow 2 to 3 hours for a full visit.
On site : restaurant with a terrace overlooking enclosures, picnic area, shop, shaded rest areas and toilets accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Visitor tips
Ask about feeding times when you arrive : it’s the best time to see the animals active. Wear comfortable shoes for the forest paths.
The park stays open in bad weather. Combined tickets also let you visit the neighbouring Tropiquarium, which has a separate entrance.

- Lac de Bret, above Puidoux, is a peaceful lake fed solely by natural springs.
