Built between 1658 and 1678 by silk merchant Kaspar Stockalper, Stockalper Palace in Brig-Glis, Switzerland, stands as a national heritage site. The monumental building, once the largest private construction in Switzerland, reflects Kaspar's extensive trade empire. The rectangular palace features three towers, a spacious courtyard, and Italian Renaissance-style arcades.
