Spiez Castle

Spiez Castle, a Swiss heritage site, holds centuries of history. Built in 933, it overlooks Lake Thun, with a rich past spanning medieval tournaments, Habsburg conflicts, and Bubenberg rule. Expanded and renovated over time, the castle features a massive square keep, residence wings, and the Baroque 'New Castle.' Today, the castle, gardens, and neighboring church are open to the public, hosting events and preserving historical charm.
